So, I’m not sure how much of their image is an act and how much is real, but maintaining that mystique is probably why I love these guys SO MUCH. Hopefully their album comes out sooner than later.

Gil Scott-Heron - “Me And The Devil”
I’ve never really followed Gil Scott-Heron very closely but apparently he’s coming out with a new album and this song will be on it. I thought it sounded interesting enough to post, so please enjoy!
I don’t know why I find this so awesome, but I’m finding it REALLY awesome. I think it’s because it sounds like either some goofy record you bought solely for it’s absurd cover at Goodwill (I do this a lot), or like some communist-era Latvian recording you might find at your grandparents’ house.

His new album “Kings and Queens” dropped a couple days ago and I don’t think I’ve been this excited for anything to show up in my mailbox in a long time.
Also, this is officially my first post from Florida. Woot.
