Zero 7 - "In Time"
Another gem from my mp3 collection. Had the ol’ iTunes on shuffle and this bad boy started playing. It’s a quite beautiful and mellow song by a group I’ve checked out before but previously found kinda boring. This song maintains their mellow vibe, but has an amazing hook to give it some life. You can watch the video for the song here. - via my itunes

Little Comets
So I was bored and putting off a trip to the gym this evening and decided to putz around on the internet in the hunt for good music.  Well, that hunt was successful tonight as I’ve discovered this fantastic band from Newcastle. This is exactly the type of British indie I like. Holy moly, these guys are fantastic. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they’ve recorded anything...

I’m rocking shuffle on my own music collection and came across this little gem.  It’s a lounge remake of the French classic, and it definitely put a smile on my face today. - via Me

Jaguar Love
Apparently this is a new band that contains members of the now-defunct Pretty Girls Make Graves.  I loved the first two PGMG records, and then they sort of jumped the shark.  If this band’s stuff is anything like early PGMG, I’m probably going to love it.

Here’s another review from Pitchfork that’s peaked my interest. I’ve been listening to quite a bit of French stuff recently, most notably John & Jen and The Teenagers, so when I saw this review I got excited. Unfortunately, I’m without headphones today at work, so I can’t check them out on myspace, but I still wanted to post about them here so I can check them...

Lau Nau
While skimming through the Pitchfork feed today I came across an artist who I wanted to note for follow up. Going along with my fetish for all things Scandinavian, I found their write-up on Finnish artist Lau Nau intriguing. If I manage to get my hands on some of her stuff I’ll follow up on her here. - via Pitchfork UPDATE I finally got the chance to check out some of her stuff on...
