A New Album I'm Actually Excited About
On September 15th, Mike Skinner, also known as “The Streets,” will release his fourth studio album. I’ve already heard two songs off of it, and I have to say, I think this could be his best album yet.

Muxtape Is Down
For a while now, I had been planning on making a muxtape once a season to showcase good, new tunes to share with my friends that ask for good, new tunes. Unfortunately, I looks like the RIAA has gotten their grimy, little hands on the very cool site and it’s now down, though maybe not forever. Either way, this kind of shit pisses me off.

Men Without Pants - "And The Girls Go"
Men Without Pants is a fairly new project from Russell Simmins (of Jon Spencer Blues Explosion) and producer Dan The Automator. I just checked out their myspace page and have to say that I’m excited to get this album whenever it is that I can.

Songs Found On An Old Envelope
So I was cleaning my room this evening and came across a bunch of songs I wrote down on an envelope in hopes of not forgetting them. Unfortunately, I’ve pretty much forgotten what they sound like, but I do remember that they came from WPFW, a local jazz station I listen to.
